Make Your Own Twitter Background!

I thought I would post a little info bit.  Twitter is one of our most valuable resources.  Along with Facebook it's where we connect and share our businesses, blog posts, thoughts and opinions.  But since the new change of format from Twitter, a lot of us are left with weird looking backgrounds.  Twitter is doing away with the old and so should you.  I've seen a lot of Twitterers with the old formatted backgrounds and it looks kinda funky.  So here are the new dimensions for the new Twitter backgrounds.

You can use any program to make a background Paint, Photoshop, I used Xara Photo & Graphic Designer 6. {As I did to make this background}

Background: 1255px X 480px

Left Sidebar: 155px X 480px

Right Sidebar: 61px X 480px

The finished background can NOT be more than 800kb.  That's all twitter will allow.

Gather everything you need and size it to the dimensions I gave.

Place everything just the way you want it and add text.  Very important!  People see your profile and any info you give will benefit you or your business.

It's easy and fun, and more importantly it will reflect you :)

If you don't know how to upload your new background, just go to Twitter, then settings, then design.  At the bottom you'll see "change background image".  Click that and upload your file{ Do NOT tile it} .  Then go to "change design colors"  make them similar to the background, and click done.  Ta da!  That's it.  Now just go to your profile and bask in the awesomeness that is you!
