I was recently asked to check out some cleaning products from SC Johnson brands. All I could think was aahh perfect timing! Already ready being well familiarized with these household names, of course I accepted!
I received
- Scrubbing Bubbles Mega Shower Foamer with Extend-A-Clean
- Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel with dispenser and gel discs.
- Glade Limited Edition Spring Collection jar candle
- Glade Plugins Scented Oil
- Pledge Lemon Clean
I'm going to start out with my personal favorite. Maybe it's my favorite, because I don't have to clean with it! The Glade Limited Edition Spring Collection jar candle.
The scent... "Sparkle of Spring"

The Glade family of candles burn for an average 22 hours.
Next favorite has to be the Scrubbing Bubbles Mega Shower Foamer with Extend-A-Clean.
When I clean this is my criteria....- I don't want to have to evacuate the house to do it
- It can't have a gross lingering chemical smell
- I don't really want to be in there longer than I have to
- It has to stay clean.
The wide spray zone means a better coating. And right away you see it go to work with a rich foamy layer. I let it sit the recommended time... and honestly, I'm not sure if it is suppose to be a stronger formula, or just a longer lasting with a wide spray. But I cleaned with just about the same effort as with the regular foaming spray from Scrubbing Bubbles. So no difference there. {I should say that it is quite a bit less than with any powder or trigger sprayer} What I did notice though, was the shine. It leaves a nice shine to your tub and tile and fixtures. I liked that. And the after smell. Like that. Fresh and clean not chemically and gross. The wide spray made it super quick to spray down the shower and tubs. I did all 3 with one can.
- The benefits of Scrubbing Bubbles® Mega Shower Foamer:
- Wide spray covers more completely than splotchy trigger sprays
- Powerful formula goes to work on contact, penetrating, dissolving and removing soap scum and reducing mildew stains
- Makes removing soap scum easy
- Makes scrubbing virtually obsolete
- Active cleaners work overtime to keep your bathroom cleaner, longer
- Invisible grime barrier is activated each time bathroom surfaces get wet, working for up to four days
- Eliminates odors as it cleans
- Leaves a brilliant shine
FYI: Scrubbing Bubbles® Mega Shower Foamer is safe for use on glazed ceramic tile, stainless steel, chrome fixtures, fiberglass and glazed porcelain tile.
Do not use on acrylic, brass or natural marble. Spot-test all other surfaces in an inconspicuous area.
Now how many of us love scrubbing them toilets? Anyone? Hands please... OK so none of us do! It's got to be last on my list of fun stuff. I could do a whole list of the "would you rather".. Would you rather go 1 month without your phone or 1 month without having to do the toilets? Easy...take my phone. Would you rather be left in the middle of the jungle and have to find your way out or clean the toilets.. I'll take a one way ticket to said jungle please....
Well it's not having a genie pop out and clean them for you but, Scrubbing Bubbles Toilet Cleaning Gel is pretty close. I liked the dispenser. I didn't have to touch any cleaner. Load it, put it up close to the rim and click! You have a nice disc attached. With every flush it's activated and dissolves just enough to clean the bowl. Again me with the smell.... The smell or scent is light and really hardly noticeable. But the clean is there. I tell my kids, "Don't forget to flush you're helping mommy clean!"
