Bing "Our School Needs" Contest

Bing has had this campaign going on for a while.  many have entered and now it's down to the 15 finalists!  Bing is giving out $250,000 to four lucky schools in desperate need.  But they can't do it alone! They need your help!  From now until Novemeber 7, 2010 you can go and vote at Bing "Our School Needs" on your favorite video.  You can vote up to 5 times daily!  The entry with the most votes wins $100,000 ! And 3 runner ups will each win $50,000!  So let's get cracking!

Bing is also giving away up to $900,000 to schools in need through DonorsChoose.org, a non-profit website where public school teachers can post classroom projects that need funding. Be one of the first 30,000 to vote for your favorite finalists each day and receive a $3 donation code to redeem for the classroom project of your choice!
 These all are very worthy schools.  Each has a need that must be met.  Unfortunately it boils down to private donors, contests like these, sponsoring companies and such.  Like take for example, Roosevelt High School in CO.  They have a serious technology need.  Everything nowadays is going the way of the internet.  This is what they pledge to use their monies on? "Thirty new computers: $16,500. - Three hundred Net books: $75,000. - A new server: $2,000. - An education that reflects our generation: Priceless."
Or the Beaumont Middle School, where they are living in a Zombie school!  Just about everything is out-dated.   Leaving staff and students soul less!  I know these are suppose to be sad, but this video and essay had me smiling and laughing!

Their encyclopedias are from 1989!!  For goodness sakes!  They still talk about the Soviet Union in the present tense.
I'm sure we can all spare a couple of minutes voting.  All these schools did such a great job promoting their schools needs.
